TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue performed at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Centre in Western New York on August 31, 2026 on their Iconic tour. The show started at 730pm with a DJ set for about 30 minutes which was solid. Then it was about 25+ songs straight with alternating performances, starting with En Vogue (My Lovin', Free Your Mind), and then TLC (Silly Ho medley, Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg, What About Your Friends, Baby Baby Baby) and then Salt-N-Pepa (My Mic Sounds Nice, None of Your Business, R You Ready, Get Up, I'll Take Your Man, Whatta Man) and then back to En Vogue (Something He Can Feel, Hold On, Don't Let Go) which was the end of their set with only a handful of songs. TLC followed with Red Light Special and Unpretty. Then Salt-N-Pepa came out to push out their final set (Do You Want Me, Let's Talk About Sex, Shoop, Push It, Stomp) with a huge amount of energy. I especially liked the Spinderella interlude. Finally TLC closed the night with No Scrubs and Waterfalls.
I've missed a few songs but that's most of it. The sound/acoustics was very mixed, with En Vogue and the Spinderella DJ set sounding the best, Salt-N-Pepa were okay and then TLC had the worst audio I felt. This was my first time at the Darien Lake amphitheatre so maybe it's just always like this or today was somehow unique. The first DJ didn't sound too bad either.
I was happy to see all the bands and these performances, I wish Silly Ho had been the entire song, but better than nothing at all. However, it did appear that a lot of TLC songs were abbreviated. And I have to make this remark: Lisa is resting in peace, T-boz's illness put her out, and we ended up only seeing C from TLC. They used T-boz's vocals for her parts so that was fine. But either way, I hope her health recovers and she's back on her feet soon.
Overall, it was a fantastic and raucous show, lots of energy in the crowd, which was largely female, I was a bit surprised at that. Also when I bought the tickets, it looked like 50% or so of the tickets were still available but when we got there, I'd say it was like 90% full, very crowded! So I'm glad WNY showed up for them.
